Transit Visa to Japan
A transit visa to Japan is issued to individuals who are traveling to a third country via Japan.
Transit visas can be single-entry or double-entry, with each entry limited to a maximum of 15 days.
Travelers passing through Japan with an immediate flight connection are not required to obtain a transit visa if they do not go through immigration clearance.
Required documents for Transit Visa to Japan :
Completed Japanese visa application form (signed by hand).
Refer to Japanese Visa Application Guide on how to fill in. The form must be signed by hand (wet signature in blue ink)1 recent passport-size color photograph on a white background
Original passport with at least 6 months’ validity and two empty pages for visa stamping
Copy of Residence permit or landing card for Singapore visitors
Bank statement showing transactions for the last month (minimum amount of 3,000 SGD)
Copy of inbound and outbound tickets to/from Japan
Visa confirmation to the 3rd country or final destination
Supporting documents (if applicable):
Proof of relationship (marriage/birth certificate)
Other requirements of sponsor (copy of bank statement, passport, and residence card)
