Travel Permit for a Home Assistant
A domestic helper in possession of a valid Singapore work permit can receive a tourist visa to Japan if they are accompanying their employer, for instance, to look after their employer’s children or assist older family members during the journey. However, if domestic helpers plan to travel independently, without their employers, they are not qualified to apply for a visa in Singapore.
Tourist visas may be provided as either single or double-entry visas.
